In the summer of 2006, my friend Adele Kory and I, decided to check
out the skiing in Chile! What an exciting adventure we had. The ski
resorts, the people, and the amazing view of the beautiful Andes
Mountains was an experience of a life time. The skiing was incredible,
felt strange to be smack in the middle of full winter in early August. Our travels took us to the
resorts of Portillo, La Parva, El Colorado and Valle Nevado, with a few detours to a winery,
and of course I needed to visit a ranch and see the majestic Chilean horses. A must for those
who don't mind giving up their summer and strapping on a pair of skis!
